ABOUT THE ARTIST
Spencer Finnan has been playing piano and keys in various bands in Portland and the Pacific Northwest for the last 15 years. He specializes in Jazz, Fusion, Hip-Hop and Funk, but is comfortable in all genres. His instruments of choice are piano, Fender Rhodes and synthesizer. Spencer is available for solo gigs and session work. Current bands include ADDverse Effects, a live Hip-Hop band and Innersphere, a jazz fusion band.
LESSONS
Spencer has been teaching private piano lessons for the last decade. A full time teacher, he is committed to the musical development of his students. Instead of a traditional studio, Spencer is a travelling teacher who brings music into your home as he specializes in in-home instruction. Lessons are tailored to the individual with an emphasis on reading, technique and theory. All styles are taught to students of all ages and skill levels.
